By use of this website you accept the below conditions and understand and accept DTU’s rules.

DTU is not responsible for loss and damages due to technical errors such as e.g. lack of access to DTU’s servers, breakdown, and data damage due to technical system problems in DTU’s power supply or tele communication systems.

Further, DTU is not responsible for loss and/or damages caused by unauthorized access (hacking) of a third party via the website to user or third party data. Further, DTU is not responsible for damages caused by virus on user computer equipment as a result of browsing, downloading or similar transactions in connection with use of www.shop.dtu.dk

 

Copyright

DTU’s has copyright of sold material, which means it must not be passed on neither commercially or non-commercially. 

 

Personal information

If you register for an event on DTU’s website, information is solely registered for the purpose of registration confirmation and payment via Bambora. When registering the name and address is automatically sent via e-mail to the person in charge of the event. DTU keeps the information secure and it will not be passed on to a third party.

To improve the website, statistics giving an overview of use of the website are collected. This information cannot directly identify the users and is not passed on to a third party.

 

Responsibility

DTU is not responsible for any delay.
DTU is not responsible for services causing:
(1) indirect damage or consequential loss, operating loss or indirect loss
(2) Damages due to force majeure
In addition to this, DTU’s liability is limited to DKK 10,000 per damage regardless of the nature or price of the goods delivered, depending on the smallest amount
However, DTU accepts product liability for personal injury/death, which cannot be waived by law.

 

Terms of payment

The following payment cards can be used: Mobile Pay, Visa, Visa/Dankort, Visa Elektron, MasterCard, MasterCard Direct and Maestro

When you pay electronically, your information is transferred to Bambora via an encrypted SSL connection, which means that your information cannot be read or decoded by anyone other than Bambora.

Bambora has authorized DTU to handle the above payment cards.

 

Order confirmation

Your order will be confirmed electronically immediately after receipt of order. The following information will appear in your order confirmation:

  • Your name and address
  • Order description and price

 

Cancellation

In principle, you have 14 days cancellation right in accordance with the Danish Consumer Protection Act.
Goods must be returned to the place of delivery unopened and in the same condition as you received them. If the item is damaged and a replacement is not possible, the item cannot be returned. In principle, purchase of electronic services such as course material is non-refundable.

When registering for courses there is a cancellation right of 14 days, unless otherwise specified, after which registration is binding. If you register later than 15 days before start of the event, the right of withdrawal expires the day before the event starts. When cancelling a purchased event, the registration fee will be reimbursed on the card used to pay for the event.

 

Right of Complaint

The Danish Sale of Goods Act concerning defects apply.

When trading with DTU, you have a 24-month right of complaint, which means that you can either have the product repaired, replaced, reimbursed, or get a reduction in the price, dependent on the specific situation. It is a requirement that the right of complaint is legitimate and that the defect has not occurred as a result of wrong product use or other damaging conduct. You must describe the defect/problem in detail and e.g. include photos. Complaints of defects on delivered products must be informed DTU within a reasonable time, after which you have or should have discovered the defect.

Concerning software you must describe the defect and by request submit e.g. a screen dump or similar.

 

Delivery

Compendiums can be picked up in the department immediately after payment registration. When purchasing electronic course material, the buyer has access to the material on CampusNet as soon as payment is registered. When purchasing event and seminars, receipt mail and ID are used as access.
